The time of year is fast approaching for us Scots to indulge in our national dish of Haggis (with optional Neeps and Tatties!). And what Burns Supper would be complete without some delicious Whisky Sauce to pour over your food. Here at the Whisky Sauce Co we have not one but two options!
Firstly, why not try our original Whisky Sauce, which is a dark, rich, Bovril-type sauce which can be warmed and added straight to the plate. If you prefer a creamy, Diane-style sauce, just add cream and a wee touch of salt and pepper to the sauce to suit your taste.
If you don’t like the more traditional sauce for Haggis, why not try our fruity Whisky Haggis Sauce? This is like a cranberry sauce akin to what you would have with turkey. Made with redcurrants, cranberries, horseradish and of course a wee dram of whisky, this fruity alternative cuts through the meaty flavour of the Haggis and is very more-ish!
Either way, we have you covered and as both our sauces are Vegan friendly, you can use these yummy additions if are doing Vegetarian Haggis too!
